We even design and manufacture all of the tooling equipment and custom machinery in-house to ensure superior quality and the highest level of service.

Over 300 foam grades

We offer a wide choice of foam and rubber products and maintain a vast inventory of rubber and foam sheets, rolls, blocks and products, and stock over 300 foam grades. This enables us to ensure that the materials will always perform to the highest of standards while also allowing us to develop and produce rubber and foam products that are 100% fit for purpose.

Good relationships with foam manufacturers

We already enjoy excellent relationships with all the major European foam manufacturers, such as Recticel, Foam Partners, Sekisui Alveo and foam manufacturers Vitafoam, as we hold many of their different grades from foam manufacturers in stock at our UK site.

However, we do acknowledge that to keep Technical Foam Services ever-growing that we have to constantly search for new and exciting foam manufacturers, as well as rubber materials in order to satisfy growing demands.

Our foam suppliers division

Because of our wide range of foam and rubber products that we produce from foam manufacturers and other manufacturers, we have found it common practice to open a foam suppliers division. In 2008 we exported foam and rubber products to overseas countries such as India, America, Mexico, Germany and even Dubai. This means that we have grown a foam suppliers division which is proving very successful. Our foam suppliers section is a busy one as the orders from abroad stream in.

So many techniques

We can contour shape foam, buff, profile and laminate with a nylon to your concept. We can flow-wrap and retail pack to the required specification we also welcome site visits by major retailers - and this is just for the foam cut to size for bath sponges , cleaning sponges, car sponges and the like.

Many different factors will determine which machines we use to produce your parts, such as the material required, size, finished shape, quantity etc. From the outset of working with you, we will kindly ask that you provide us with as much information as possible so that we can make the best decision on the most effective and economical way to utilise our machines to produce your parts.

Moulded then cut

A great advantage of flexible materials such as polyurethane and polyethylene foams is that when subjected to heat, they can then be moulded and cut to shapes which otherwise are not possible to achieve via traditional converting methods, such as die-cutting and fabricating.

Converting foam can sometimes be like 'black art', in that similar grades often react quite differently when put through the same machining process. This can be due to subtle variations such as cell size, hardness or maybe even the elongation strength of the foam. We are often given a task by a new customer to convert a specific grade in a way which has never been tried before.

The skilled workforce in this department has built machines for shaping, drilling, contour cutting, printing, laminating and many more processes. Maintaining these machines is part of our daily working routine, and we place great emphasis on retaining the value of our assets.
