Acoustic foams

Industrial applications, Domestic applications

Technical Foam Services has the perfect solution to excessive noise levels with our range of acoustic foams that can be processed and engineered to provide effective noise reduction tailored to your individual situations in both domestic and industrial environments.

Acoustic foams for every situation

As the leading engineer-biased foam converter in the UK we offer the widest selection of acoustic foam grades available and can manufacture and supply acoustic foam products to suit your exact requirements.

Just some of the applications where our products are used in include:

  • Compressors and generators
  • Air conditioning units
  • Engine protection in the automotive and rail industries
  • Ceiling and wall tiles in industrial, office and domestic environments
  • Suspended absorbers for large rooms such as cinemas, theatres, school halls, and exhibition rooms

How do acoustic foams work?

We produce acoustic foams from polyurethane and melamine foams as their open-cell natures trap sound waves effectively, thus providing the highest level of noise reduction. But, how we process and convert these foams is what makes the real difference in the level of sound absorption provided.

We offer acoustic foams in a wide range of grades, compositions and thicknesses to provide the optimum level of noise reduction based on each unique situation. Furthermore, with a vast range of converting machinery, including the capacity to build bespoke tooling and equipment in-house, we can supply acoustic foams in many different forms, such as:

  • Straight cut sheets
  • Cut parts
  • Egg box panels
  • Pyramid profiled panels

We cut each of our acoustic foams to order to ensure that it meets each individual customer's requirements every single time.

In addition to producing precision products, we can also bond a self-adhesive backing to the foam to enable simple installation on walls, brickwork and even steel. Furthermore, for products such as suspended sound absorbers we can encapsulate them in vinyl, making them an attractive feature in their own right, while also providing effective noise reduction.

Setting the standard

As a leader in the field of acoustic foams, we can supply products to meet all necessary fire retardancy standards. Our fire retardant grades all meet either FMVSS302 or UL94 HF1 and we also offer two Class 0 grades where required.

Always going the extra mile, Technical Foam Services also offer a range of optional coatings and composites when required. These include oil dispersing and heat reflecting coatings, foil and film-based composites, and aluminium sheet inter-layers.

Anything is possible

With our outstanding processing capabilities, the range of acoustic foams we can produce is almost limitless. To develop your ideal acoustic foam solution simply tell us:

  • The environment in which it will be used
  • How the noise is emitted
  • How much sound reduction you need

We can then specify the right grade and manufacture the ideal acoustic foam for your unique requirements.

Outstanding offers on acoustic foams and acoustic foam tiles

Acoustic foams are a popular choice for environments like studios or music practice rooms, where a large amount of noise is typically generated. As specialists in foam products, we stock a vast range of acoustic foam panels and acoustic foam tiles, which are all fantastic forms of noise reduction foam and sound deadening foam. Whatever is it you need acoustic foams for, we can offer advice and even process foam to suit your individual requirements.

This kind of sound proofing foam can make a remarkable difference to the noise levels in an environment, particularly if the amount of noise produced is likely to be a problem. In rooms which are likely to have excessive noise generated within them, sound proofing foam will reduce the levels by trapping the sound. With so much noise pollution these days, there is a high demand for our noise reduction foam, such as acoustic foam panels and acoustic foam tiles.

Sound proofing foam for a quieter life

There are various environments in which noise reduction foam could be sorely needed, such as apartment complexes or large houses which have been converted into flats. Sound proofing can, unfortunately, be of a poor standard in structures like these, and noise from other households can cause distress. Sound proofing foam can be installed to ensure that noise is dampened, reducing the amount of excessive noise which enters your space.

Our high-quality acoustic insulation foam can make a huge difference to the amount of noise which passes from one room into another. If you are interested in using some of our soundproofing materials, whether in the form of acoustic foam panels or acoustic foam tiles, then our friendly team can provide the advice and information you may need.

Acoustic insulation foam in the workplace

Sound proofing may also be required in working environments like an office block or industrial setting, where excess noise can all too easily cause problems. To reduce noise pollution between areas, use acoustic foams or some other sound deadening foam. This can make a huge difference to the noise levels in an environment where people need to be able to concentrate, so if you find that you want to learn more about our range of sound deadening foam and acoustic insulation foam, feel free to contact us for honest, reliable advice.

As leading providers of foam products, we have years of experience manufacturing a vast range featuring acoustic foam panels, acoustic foam tiles, noise reduction foam, sound deadening foam and acoustic insulation foam.
