Find out how we can
help your business
There are many applications where foam has to comply with safety standards as part of high performance use. Technical Foam Services offer the widest choice of solutions to meet Class-0 fire retardancy standards. These include Pyrosorb and Fireseal polyurethane (PU) solutions as well as Class-0 rated Basotect melamine foam.
- Construction and HVAC – including thermal insulation and filters for air and dust
- Sound absorption – including shields for home studios, hi-fi speakers and more
- Automotive applications – including seals, gaskets, hoses and pipes
What We Offer
Lightweight and flexible, all of our PU and melamine Class-0 foams offer a supreme level of fire retardancy as a result of their self-extinguishing properties. They neither melt nor drip when exposed to flames.
With outstanding technical and engineering capabilities, we take an individual approach to every client and create custom Class-0 foam solutions for a vast range of applications, from the construction industry through to automotive and engineering sectors and beyond.
As Class-0 foam suppliers, our engineering experts can produce bespoke tooling to supply Class-0 soundproof foams in myriad shapes and sizes, from straight cut sheets to intricate shapes, and profiles to fit perfectly in every situation.
We can also produce Class-0 foams in a range of composite forms such as with oil dispersing and heat reflecting coatings, self-adhesive backing, Class-0 foil facings, film-based composites and aluminium sheet inter-layers.

What does Class-0 mean?
Class-0 is a UK fire retardency rating which ensures the material protects against the spread of flames and minimises the level of heat released. The rating is used as part of UK building regulations and is applicable to a range of materials used in wall coverings and linings.
Are Class-0 Foams fire resistant?
Lightweight and flexible, all of our PU and melamine Class-0 foams offer a supreme level of fire retardancy as a result of their self-extinguishing properties, and they neither melt nor drip when exposed to flames.
What are the main properties of Class-0 Foams?
Known for their durability, Class-0 foams are a popular material due to their resistance to oil, grease, detergents and chemicals. Even in humid conditions the material remains hydrolysis and moisture resistant. Class-0 foam is also non-toxic and CFC/HCFC free.
